Introduction to Communication

ommunication has become essential nowadays, especially du-ring the globalization era. In order to communicate well, the skills of communication and the knowledge of how to communicate effecti-vely are a must. However, communication is also a very broad knowledge; it includes almost every part of our lives. It is not only journalistic or public relations; it is much more than these two. Jour-nalistic and public relations are just small parts of it.

This book contains these five fields of communication, and also Theory of Communication, which is the fundamental theory of com-munication, and Cross Cultural Communication, which deals more with culture-how culture can influence the communication and ho culture itself can become the main problem of communicatio across countries. Instead of those things, this book also uses th Cooperative Learning as the class activities so that the students a used to working together in a team. There are four methods that th book uses Jigsaw, Think-Pair-Share, Think-Pair-Square
